Two Saki Snacks companies at one Greenford unit face winding-up petitions in Leeds on 8 September. Creditors must give notice by 4pm on 7 September.
Two food companies registered at the same unit on a Greenford industrial estate are facing winding-up petitions in the High Court. Both were advertised in The Gazette, the official public record, on 28 August. The hearing is on Tuesday 8 September.
The companies are Saki Snacks Limited and Saki Snacks (Midlands) Limited, both of Unit 14, Sheraton Business Centre, Wadsworth Road, Greenford UB6 7JB. The same creditor brought both petitions on the same day.
What the notices say
The petitions were presented on Tuesday 21 July 2026 at 10am by P.&B. (Foods) Limited, of Prologis Park, Newhall Way, Bradford, which the notices describe as claiming to be a creditor of each company.
- Saki Snacks Limited (company number 06780057), case CR-2026-LDS-000751. The notice records its business as manufacture of food products and wholesale of other food.
- Saki Snacks (Midlands) Limited (company number 06682407), case CR-2026-LDS-000750.
Both will be heard at the Business and Property Courts in Leeds, Fourth Floor, West Gate, 6 Grace Street, at 10am on 8 September, or as soon after that as the petitions can be heard.
Anyone intending to appear at either hearing, whether to support the petition or oppose it, must give notice to the petitioner’s solicitor by 4pm on Monday 7 September. The notices name the solicitor as Andrew Langton of LCF Law Limited in Leeds and give a phone number and email address for that purpose.
A winding-up petition is not a winding-up order. It is a creditor asking the court to close a company down because it says a debt has not been paid. The company can pay, settle or dispute it, and the court decides.
What the register shows about the companies
Both are still recorded as active on Companies House, and both are behind on their accounts.

The larger of the two, Saki Snacks Limited, filed a healthy-looking balance sheet for the year to 31 July 2024. It showed £331,231 of stock, £792,005 owed to it by others, £29,997 of cash and an investment property valued at £930,000, against £832,576 owed to creditors within a year. Net assets were £926,598, up from £782,622 the year before. It has one director, and the accounts were signed on 15 April 2025. Nothing more recent has been filed.
Saki Snacks (Midlands) Limited is much the smaller company, with net assets of £67,172 at 30 September 2024, barely changed from £67,720 a year earlier.
Companies House currently lists both under a single business classification, 46900 non-specialised wholesale trade, which does not match the food manufacturing description carried in the Gazette notice against the larger company.
This is not the first strike-off warning
The filing history shows the registrar has already tried to remove Saki Snacks Limited from the register once this year, and stopped.
- 14 July 2026: first Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off
- 18 July 2026: strike-off action suspended
- 21 July 2026: the company filed its overdue confirmation statement, and the petitions were presented the same day
- 22 July 2026: strike-off action discontinued
The Midlands company is now at the same stage, recorded on Companies House as active with a proposal to strike off against it.
What it means for you
- If you are owed money by either company, the deadline that matters is 4pm on Monday 7 September, the point by which notice must be given to appear at the hearing. Both notices set out the requirement under Rule 7.14 and give the solicitor’s contact details.
- If you are a customer or supplier, nothing has been decided. Neither company has been wound up, and both remain on the register as active today.
- Anyone can check the position themselves for free. Company records are at Companies House, and insolvency notices are published in The Gazette.
- We report what the official registers record on the day we publish. If either company’s position changes, the register will show it before we do, and we will update this page.
We could not find a published contact address for either company beyond the registered office. Both are entitled to reply, and we will add any response to this page.
