The Questors panto is Dick Whittington, 4 to 31 December 2026: 22 shows, adults £10 to £27, under-18s £5 to £13.50. Every date, relaxed and captioned shows.
Ealing’s pantomime this year is Dick Whittington at The Questors Theatre, running from Friday 4 December to Thursday 31 December 2026 in the 350-seat Judi Dench Playhouse on Mattock Lane. It is written by Julian Smith and it is booking now: standard tickets £10 to £27, under 18s £5 to £13.50 (The Questors).
Updated 29 September: The Questors has relaunched its website. The new panto page adds an under-18 price, and the New Year’s Eve performance is now listed at 3pm only.
The theatre’s old event page, which we read on 4 September, also said “£10 tickets are available for all performances” and that every seat on the first night, 4 December, was £10. The relaunched page does not repeat either promise, so ask the box office on 020 8567 0011 before you count on them.

New Year’s Eve is a 3pm matinee. The theatre’s old page contradicted itself, printing 7pm in its date list and selling 3pm in its box office rows. The relaunched page lists 3pm only, so the matinee is the one to book.
Note the gaps: there is nothing on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or Boxing Day, and nothing on Mondays at all.
Access performances
The Questors schedules two of each, which is more than most theatres this size:
- Relaxed: Sunday 13 December at 1pm and Sunday 27 December at 6pm. House rules are eased for young children and people with autism or additional needs.
- Captioned: Saturday 19 December at 7pm and Sunday 20 December at 1pm, with text on a screen beside the stage.
What it is
Dick Whittington arrives in London to make his fortune and runs into Vermin Supreme, a rat set on taking the city from “those houmous-loving humans”, while Dame Sarah bakes her way towards a Hollywood Handshake. There is a magic double-decker bus. The theatre’s own summary promises “music, mayhem, silliness and slapstick”, which is a fair description of the form.
A trap when you search for it
Until September the Questors’ 2025 pantomime page, Cinderella, was still live and still said “Booking now”, and search engines served it as this year’s show. The website relaunch has taken the old page down, but search results and cached copies can linger. If what you are reading says Cinderella, 5 to 31 December, or a £10 to £26 price band, it is last year’s.
The other Christmas show
If the panto is not your thing, the Questors is running Mary Shelley in its 90-seat Studio from 11 to 31 December 2026, billed as “the girl behind the monster”. Same building, same box office.
Getting there
The Questors is at 12 Mattock Lane, W5 5BQ, a few minutes’ walk from Ealing Broadway station and closer still to the Uxbridge Road buses. It has a bar, the Grapevine, which is in the Good Beer Guide.
Mattock Lane sits inside the borough’s controlled parking area, so check the hours on our parking in Ealing page before driving, and roadworks and travel if you are coming across the borough. Mattock Lane also sits on the Ealing Half Marathon route, though that is in September and does not clash with the panto.
Everything above was checked against the theatre’s own event page on 29 September 2026. Prices and access dates get confirmed rather than guessed here, and this page is updated if the theatre changes them.
